CITIC Guoan Eco-Agriculture Leisure Park will be an ecologically conscious, sustainable retirement community that embraces the areas agricultural roots and highlights the stunning natural landscape.  Looking to regional vernacular architecture as the design inspiration, the project will utilize traditional materials including wood, stone, and brick. The concept is to create the feeling of a village within a intelligently designed landscape.

More than simply housing, each building will accommodate approximately three to five residents – with larger buildings accommodating up to ten – and incorporate unique edible landscaping enhancing each residence.  Peach, Osmanthus, and Pear trees will provide fresh food as well as recreation, while terraced gardens will afford space for growing organic vegetables and other produce. 

Long term care facilities, medical facilities, culture, entertainment, dining, and retail spaces will be incorporated as part of a holistic live/work/grow environment.
