This secluded private residence is located in the Silver Lake Hills. Part of an existing bungalow, this addition project utilizes natural elements to connect outdoors with the home's interior. Sustainable building systems are featured throughout the project, including a rain catchment system, sunshading, and skylights. Warm wood materials are paired with clean surfaces to enhance daylighting while providing a tactile building quality which is harmonious with the existing home.
